Terms and Conditions of Sale

Terms applicable to the PTI Connect service. In force since 12 June 2026.

This English translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy of interpretation, the French version prevails and is the only one with contractual force.

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the contractual relationship between Codetrail, publisher of the PTI Connect service (hereinafter the "Publisher" or the "Provider"), and any business customer subscribing to the service (hereinafter the "Customer"). Any subscription implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

Article 1 — Purpose

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions under which the Publisher provides the Customer with the PTI Connect service, a lone-worker protection (PTI) software platform comprising a mobile application, a web supervision console and the associated services described on the website.

Article 2 — Definitions

  • Service: the PTI Connect platform and all of its features.
  • Agent: any end user (worker) with access to the mobile application.
  • Subscription: the subscription contract entered into between the Publisher and the Customer.
  • Account: the supervision workspace allocated to the Customer.

Article 3 — Description of the service

PTI Connect is a 100% software solution, with no hardware to deploy. It notably includes the in-app SOS with geolocation, fall and no-motion detection using the smartphone's sensors, alert notifications, the multi-site supervision console, automatic alert escalation, APIs and webhooks, as well as regulatory exports. The Publisher reserves the right to evolve the features of the Service.

The Service is a tool that assists with the protection of lone workers. It does not replace the employer's safety obligations, nor the emergency services. The Customer remains solely responsible for organising emergency response and for complying with its legal obligations (in particular article R.4543-19 of the French Labour Code).

Article 4 — Subscription

Subscription takes place online via the dedicated form. The Customer warrants the accuracy of the information provided. The contract is formed upon validation of the card payment and activation of the Account by the Publisher.

Article 5 — Price

The billing unit of the Service is the location, understood as a checkpoint materialised by a QR code made available to the Customer. The Service is sold as monthly packs: each pack caps a number of locations and a number of sites, the number of registered agents being unlimited and having no impact on the price. The entry offer is 9,99 € excluding tax per month for 1 location and 1 site. The list of packs and their quotas is set out on the Pricing page, which forms an integral part of these terms. The Customer may change pack at any time; the new price applies from the following subscription period. The subscription has no setup fees or hidden costs. Prices are exclusive of VAT, with applicable VAT added at the prevailing rate. The Publisher reserves the right to change its prices, with the Customer being informed at least thirty (30) days in advance; any change applies at the end of the current subscription period.

Article 6 — Payment terms

The monthly subscription is paid by bank card, via our payment provider Stripe. Card details neither pass through nor are stored by the Publisher. The subscription is charged automatically at each monthly due date.

Billing is monthly. In the event of a payment incident, the Publisher may suspend access to the Service after formal notice has remained without effect for eight (8) days.

Article 7 — Term and cancellation

The subscription is entered into with no fixed term and renews for monthly periods. Either party may terminate it at any time, subject to one (1) month's notice, by written notification (email to jt@codetrail.eu). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period; amounts due for the period under way remain payable.

Article 8 — Customer's obligations

The Customer undertakes to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and with the applicable regulations, to inform its agents of the deployment of the system and of the processing of their data, to obtain any necessary consents, and to preserve the confidentiality of its credentials.

Article 9 — Availability and maintenance

The Publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the Service. It may carry out maintenance operations, where possible outside business hours, and cannot be held liable for interruptions related to the Internet network, mobile operators or the Customer's devices.

Article 10 — Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy (GDPR), which forms an integral part of these Terms. Within the Service, the Publisher acts as the Customer's processor within the meaning of the GDPR for the agents' data.

Article 11 — Intellectual property

The Service, its software, trademarks and content remain the exclusive property of the Publisher. The subscription grants the Customer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use for the duration of the subscription. Data entered and generated by the Customer belongs to the Customer.

Article 12 — Liability

The Publisher's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages. It shall not, in any event, exceed the amounts paid by the Customer over the last twelve (12) months. The Publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, nor for the consequences of any non-compliant use of the Service.

Article 13 — Force majeure

Neither party may be held liable for a failure to perform its obligations resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code and applicable case law.

Article 14 — Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of the jurisdiction of the Publisher's registered office.
